DSHOA2 2006 VTF News – updated 13 June 2006

Vandalism Task Force News:

· Although vandals are NOT running rampant in our community, the Tot Lot area has been damaged repeatedly and has cost the community time and money.

· A letter from the DSHOA2 Board describing the new Vandalism Task Force was mailed to homeowners on May 26, 2006. Link to Letter (Adobe Acrobat PDF format).

· Derwood Station 2 Homeowners! Do you have an extra $1100 bucks?

· That’s how much we (you) just paid to replace the Tot Lot slide. Help us and help yourself …

· PARENTS! KIDS! Somebody’s been marking up the totlot equipment! Each time we call out maintenance to clean them, it costs $$$! Your $$$! Parents – Talk to your kids! Kids – Talk to your parents!

· Please watch out for and report vandals to police or to the TMGA and report improper/harmful use of the equipment to TMGA!

· More damage reported 06 April! Part of tunnel slide vandalized again with fire damage! More graffiti too!

· And still more damage reported 20 April! More money out of your pockets!
